1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using HBM Security, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
  • If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
  • If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

  • HBM Security is a WordPress security platform that provides automated malware scanning, threat detection, vulnerability monitoring, and auto-remediation services.
  • We connect to your WordPress sites via SSH to perform security scans and, when authorized, remove detected threats.
  • The service includes a web dashboard for managing sites, viewing scan results, and configuring security settings.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • You must have authorization to connect the WordPress sites you add to the platform.

4. Acceptable Use

  • You may only use HBM Security for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
  • You may not use the service to scan or access sites you do not own or have authorization to manage.
  • You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service.
  • You may not use the service to store or transmit malicious code.
  • You may not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

5. Subscription and Billing

  • Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected billing cycle.
  • All plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start your trial.
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days advance notice.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans.

6. Service Level

  • We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our scanning services.
  • Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance.
  • We do not guarantee that scans will detect 100% of all threats. Our AI-powered detection continuously improves but cannot be considered infallible.
  • Auto-remediation actions are taken based on our best analysis, but we recommend maintaining your own backups.

7. Data and Privacy

  • Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • You retain ownership of all data associated with your WordPress sites.
  • We access your site data solely for the purpose of providing security scanning services.
  • SSH credentials are encrypted and stored securely. We do not share your credentials with third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • HBM Security is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
  • We are not responsible for data loss on your WordPress sites. We strongly recommend maintaining your own backups.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
  • You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard settings.
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.
  • Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 30 days in advance.
  • Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
